One of my favorite annual traditions is getting to spend some time with this family!  Anna, Owen, Elliott and Liam are some of the sweetest, funniest and cutest kids around!  We met up at the Historical Society for a little football, some hilarious knock-knock jokes, a pirate puppet show and some sophisticated posing.

 So we've survived a decent amount of snow and LOTS of snow days here, so I feel that I can finally post some recent photo shoots!  The first is Adam and Kelly's engagement shoot that took place on a freezing cold and windy morning at Tifft Nature Preserve....we quickly decide to take shelter in the more sheltered Cobblestone District.  I have known Adam since he was around 8- one of the nicest boys I have ever known.  I am very excited to be working with them both for their wedding next summer!

Towards the end of the summer I had the great fortune to shoot a beautiful wedding along the Lake Erie shores...Dax and Elissa (and their bulldog Bella) were at one time our amazing tenants, and they traveled back from Phoenix to tie the knot.  Everything was absolutely dreamy to photograph. It felt like being at an Italian villa right in Western New York, with the obvious Buffalo touches like a food truck that served wings at around 11 pm. Oh, and did I mention the fireworks?

This summer we were able to go on a little get away to Lake Placid, much thanks to Adam and Sarah!  I couldn't say no to a wedding in such a beautiful location, especially since we love to camp so much.  The views were stunning, despite the very changeable weather (it even hailed one day!) but no matter what was thrown at us that day, Sarah and Adam handled it with grace and some rubber boots!  Everything was perfectly planned and beautiful, a photographer's dream!
