Little girls at age ten....i'm currently enduring one now, and it is quite an adventure to be certain. There are days when she is so sweet and carefree, and other days when she blows my mind with her wisdom. And then there are the glimpses into teenagedom. *sigh*. Mary is a close friend to my daughter and is one of the sweetest girls I know. She has such a sweet laugh and a lot of that carefree nature that hopefully won't disappear in years to come. Such a fun time to be a girl!

[megan and john]
So many things to be thankful for! I just love the people I get to work with...especially when I get to see them numerous times over the years. Being trusted by families to document such important life events means so much to me! This is the third time I've been able to work with Megan, from her sister's wedding to a family session, and now her engagement. We had such a fun time down on the waterfront. And, apparently, this is my 201st post of the blog! It's hard to believe I've been at it this long. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this adventure :).

[jen and grace]
Another recent engagement session took me out to Knox Farms in East Aurora. I don't usually like to leave the city but this trip into the country was well worth it. Jen and Grace have such a great energy together and were willing to be daring throughout the session. I really look forward to their wedding next fall!

[dj and di: the engagement}
This school year more than ever I am bewildered at how quickly time seems to speed by...with all of my best intentions i have been editing and uploading images, only to get caught up in a million other things. So this week I am carving out time to post all of the wonderful people I have worked with this fall, starting with Dj and Di. These two are such a wonderfully creative, comfortable couple with a great devotion to their city, which they wanted to capture in this session. I loved their willingness to be silly and daring, and most of all they looked awesome juxtaposed with the layers of the city.
