who would have thought that we could go outside without coats in mid november? (ok, I suppose that is scary, but I can't say I don't enjoy it!) I love autumn in WNY...

[brianna and andy, part 1]

On October 12, Kristen and I took a little road trip out to Canandaigua for Brianna and Andy's wedding. Brianna is also a teacher at Sweet Home, so we felt right at home at the reception (and got lots of dirt on our colleagues ;) Here is the first installment of images, I'll put up Kristen's images in another post.

FINALLY, I was able to photograph a wedding at my dream church in buffalo- Unitarian Universalist on Elmwood and West Ferry...we walk by all the time and I peeked in but once. It definitely did not disappoint! Stunning woodwork and a warm sunset made for a pretty perfect wedding day. Dave and Gretchen are awesome...we worked together for an engagement session awhile back so they were ready for anything I suggested. Their reception was at the Adam's Mark with a photo shoot at City Hall.

Marie-Therese Gown GIVEAWAY !!!!!!!

Amazing...I would LOVE to have this dress for Sophia this Halloween....it may be the only thing to satiate her quest for the DRESS. As for my thoughts, Kathleen of Grosgrain is an amazing (and generous!!) seamstress and I only wish we lived in the same town so I could be her photog. :)

my only september wedding this year belonged to stephanie and david...their ceremony and reception were held at Salvatore's in the new addition and officiated by none other than Barry Lillis of Buffalo weatherman fame. Kristen and I enjoyed working in the new, beautifully lit foyer. A BIG thanks to the Galdenzi family who passed my name along to Stephanie!

Wow- do these two know how to throw a party! What a cool, down to earth couple...
Their ceremony took place at Sacred Heart in Orchard Park with a very hip reception at the Hamlin House- a beautiful, historic building in Allentown. I don't think I have ever seen so many people dancing at one time or for so many consecutive songs. We stopped at City Hall in between, which incidentally is my new favorite place to photograph people. Enjoy...

so my closet at home is a disaster.....
we are in the process of making a nice new bedroom for ethan and within this space is a long hallway of closets. I currently command them with all of my art materials, photography stuff and any other junk that I can't seem to part with. So to share the wealth, I am attempting to sell off all of my matted photographs from my old festival days....I have a number of matted images from Italy, images with fairy tale and mythological themes and also a number of still lifes. I am selling these images for 1/2 of the price that I used to sell them at Allentown, Lewiston or Elmwood art shows. Please (please, please) take a look at my Etsy store and give little e a chance to have his own space :)
