This summer we were able to go on a little get away to Lake Placid, much thanks to Adam and Sarah!  I couldn't say no to a wedding in such a beautiful location, especially since we love to camp so much.  The views were stunning, despite the very changeable weather (it even hailed one day!) but no matter what was thrown at us that day, Sarah and Adam handled it with grace and some rubber boots!  Everything was perfectly planned and beautiful, a photographer's dream!

In August, I got to spend a morning with some of my favorite people, who are pretty familiar to this blog....We met up in Canada and headed to Point Abino to explore the historic lighthouse and the landscape around it.  Gwen and Mack knew just what to do, and are awesome at being adorable!

I am a bit behind the times, but I didn't want to let the opportunity to share some recent family photoshoots with you!  This particular shoot is the ongoing history of Kristen and Rob.....now with their new addition, Noah.  Noah turned one recently so we spent a freezing morning at Beaver Island State Park.  Noah has such a sweet personality and knew just how to act around a camera!  Finally the sun came out so we could warm up and enjoy ourselves a bit more.

This past holiday weekend I spent the morning hanging out with the Ernst family.  It had been about a year and a half since I last saw them, when Keaton was just a little munchkin.  He has grown up so much!  Such a polite, sweet and funny little man and he showed me all his best moves.  Incidentally, it is also deanna and kurt's 5th wedding anniversary....I can't believe it has been 5 years already!  Check out their wedding images here.  And here are some images from last Monday!

It's spring, finally, and the very best time to celebrate new life!  I had the chance to meet Baby Jack last month and check out his awesome pad, super colorful with a vintage vibe.  No doubt it would be awesome, considering his mom, Christa is a graphic designer.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session!
