Beautiful morning with a beautiful family!  I met up with the Murphys at the Historical Society, bright and early to catch a peaceful sunrise over the water.  The Murphy kids were so much fun to photograph....I was a little nervous, as lately I have been working with much younger kids, but these guys were up for whatever I threw at them and it made for some great images!

The best thing so far about our Buffalo Autumn has been the amazingly warm weather and photographing adorable families!  Yesterday I returned to Tifft for another session with the Lizauckas Family.  It has been a year since I saw Claire for the first time, only a few weeks old.  What a little independent lady she has become!  And Tony has grown even more charming and adventurous, so Tifft was a perfect fit.

Last weekend I met my friend Cheryl and her family downtown, just beating out the rain for our photoshoot.  We roamed around Main Street and explored storefronts and alleyways.  We may or may not have recreated a famous album cover, and I found my new favorite photography spot, a little side alley filled with lush ivy over the top of bright orange graffiti.  Livi and Brody were pretty great handling all of this attention too.

Roaming around Tifft nature preserve with this beautiful family made for a fun Friday evening! Emmett is all boy, constantly on the prowl for interesting creatures (he caught a couple of snails and a whole clan of crickets), while Kate is cool and sophisticated for all of her eight years.  It was an adventure!
