Last weekend I met my friend Cheryl and her family downtown, just beating out the rain for our photoshoot.  We roamed around Main Street and explored storefronts and alleyways.  We may or may not have recreated a famous album cover, and I found my new favorite photography spot, a little side alley filled with lush ivy over the top of bright orange graffiti.  Livi and Brody were pretty great handling all of this attention too.

Roaming around Tifft nature preserve with this beautiful family made for a fun Friday evening! Emmett is all boy, constantly on the prowl for interesting creatures (he caught a couple of snails and a whole clan of crickets), while Kate is cool and sophisticated for all of her eight years.  It was an adventure!

{jen and grace: the wedding}

Labor day weekend was witness to the marriage of two beautiful people, Jen and Grace. The day was picture perfect in all ways, from the sunshine and warmth to the gathering of families and all of the love present throughout the day.  The wedding and reception were held at O'Brien's Sleepy Hollow in East Aurora, and ended the night with a sparkler send off and lantern release, and lots of fun and laughter in between.
