The best part of being a family photographer is watching families grow before your eyes. I first met Stefanie and Tony eight years ago when they were getting married, and then three years later, I met little Tony, their beautiful baby boy. Claire came along a couple of years later and is now an independent, funny and smart two year old. Together they make a pretty perfect family! We met up last week at Knox Farms for some pictures, a search for Anna and Elsa and to practice some pretty wicked Ninjago ninja moves!

{Lauren and Justin, the wedding}
This fall has been a dream for weddings and photography....a couple of weeks ago I photographed Lauren and Justin's wedding down at O'Brien's Sleep Hollow, and couldn't have asked for a more picturesque day. Outdoor weddings are my absolute favorite, especially since I can wander around during the ceremony to capture images from all angles. Justin and Lauren have a passion for the outdoors and conservation, and it was reflected in all of the details, from the tree planting ceremony to the dried lavender that the guests showered onto the newly married couple, and even to Justin's ring, which is made from meteorite. All in all it was a perfect night, and I was incredibly happy to be a part of it!

[Bridget and Dave, the wedding]
I couldn't possibly head off to begin another school year tomorrow without posting this final summer photoshoot....Bridget and Dave's wedding. These two are so perfect for each other, and being a part of their big day meant so much to me. Bridget is a phenomenal teacher, one of my daughter Sophia's all time favorites and a huge inspiration to her. Sophia was even able to be a part of the action as an altar server. The ceremony was held at St. Mark by Father Joe Rogliano (whose reaction in his picture below is so him- the most loving and kind priest around.) Such an amazing way to end the summer!
