[dj and di: the engagement}

This school year more than ever I am bewildered at how quickly time seems to speed by...with all of my best intentions i have been editing and uploading images, only to get caught up in a million other things.  So this week I am carving out time to post all of the wonderful people I have worked with this fall, starting with Dj and Di.  These two are such a wonderfully creative, comfortable couple with a great devotion to their city, which they wanted to capture in this session. I loved their willingness to be silly and daring, and most of all they looked awesome juxtaposed with the layers of the city.

Saturday was a perfect morning for a little gathering at the Japanese gardens with Ruby and her family. Five months ago, Ruby was just a tiny little peanut, and now she is the smiliest, happiest girl around.














Ruby is super lucky in the fact that she has three generations of great women ahead of her who came out to spend the morning with her.











After all of this smiling and drinking tea, a girl needs her rest.





Feeling refreshed, Ruby was ready to take on more!

Time goes by impossibly fast when it is measured by the growth of children...I can't believe its been three years since I last saw this family!  They recently welcomed a new addition, Claire, and I was able to spend some time with them recently.  Little Tony has become such a handsome and intelligent boy since his last photoshoot, and he certainly loves his little sister!

A couple of weeks ago I was able to spend the morning with this beautiful family at Tifft nature preserve.  Julie and Jeff have graced my blog posts before, here and here, and now have little Anna to add.  She is the girl who knows what she wants and looks incredibly cute all the while....it is always exciting to watch a family as it grows and changes, and I am so happy that I could have some time to capture it.
