[sue and matt]

My friend suzanne had sent Sue and Matt my way....what a lovely couple! Matt is a bit of an architecture buff, so what better venue than downtown Buffalo? We met at Pearl Street Brewery and took a walking tour of some of the more interesting artectural elements around town. It was actually pretty darn chilly- a nice breeze off of the lake made us shiver a bit (it seems like more than merely a week since our shoot, as it was 80 today!) but we had a great time nonetheless.

[mr. and mrs. p]

I will have to mark this as a first....I was recently asked to help out at Westminster Early Childhood Program, my children's "school", for a photographic project for their upcoming art auction and wine tasting. After tossing around a few different ideas, we decided to work with some studio portraiture on none other than Mr. Potato Head! The kids each had a chance to set up their shots, choosing their favorite potato props and backgrounds. I did a little Lightroom tinkering to the images....and now they are ready to be framed as a group to be auctioned off. If only I have people sized backdrops such as these!

[stefanie and tony]

and the engagement sessions are quickly adding up! I met up with stefanie and tony for a photo shoot at the botannical gardens for a great sunshiny photo shoot....we came across this very cool terra cotta wall that I just couldn't get enough of.....so many possibilities in one location!
Also, for this post (and perhaps subsequent posts) I have decided to go with the monster sized pics- I'd love some feedback- is it too much?
