[kathryn and travis: engagement shoot]

k and t are getting married next march, here is their pre wedding shoot at the Botannical Gardens (did I mention it is my new favorite place to photograph?) What an adorable couple, they remind me of students I have had in the past, so full of youth and an energetic vibe that I definitely could bottle and sell (or just hoarde for myself.)

I absolutely LOVE this photo from Grosgrain ....Kathleen has recently opened a store selling her clothing line, and I hope that this giveaway outfit makes it to the store. Wouldn't Sophia look awesome in it?

Downtown Holiday Jacket and Pant

[elisabete and matthew]

probably one of the most eclectic weddings that I had the chance to photograph this year...elisabete is an architect and her love for the industrial side of buffalo was a high priority for our photoshoot (you may remember their engagement shoot...) Gorgeous day and a beautiful ceremony at the Botannical gardens (which I have decided that I could photograph there every day and never tire of it) with photos at Squaw Island and the grain elevators in Buffalo. Their reception was at the Roycroft Inn. This is the last wedding til January, which I just sadly realized is not as far away as I thought.

A few thoughts for those of you getting married: if you want to get fabulous prep pictures, rent a room at the Holiday Inn on Delaware Ave....

The "One-man band" that entertained the reception was Kevin McCarthy...he was awesome!

[brianna and andy part 2: kristen's take]

wow. we shoot A LOT of images. I just finished proofing this wedding and between kristen and i, we are close to 1500. Of course, there was a lot to see....and then there was Kristen's traveling hippo series....

[november sunshine]

who would have thought that we could go outside without coats in mid november? (ok, I suppose that is scary, but I can't say I don't enjoy it!) I love autumn in WNY...

[brianna and andy, part 1]

On October 12, Kristen and I took a little road trip out to Canandaigua for Brianna and Andy's wedding. Brianna is also a teacher at Sweet Home, so we felt right at home at the reception (and got lots of dirt on our colleagues ;) Here is the first installment of images, I'll put up Kristen's images in another post.

[gretchen and dave]

FINALLY, I was able to photograph a wedding at my dream church in buffalo- Unitarian Universalist on Elmwood and West Ferry...we walk by all the time and I peeked in but once. It definitely did not disappoint! Stunning woodwork and a warm sunset made for a pretty perfect wedding day. Dave and Gretchen are awesome...we worked together for an engagement session awhile back so they were ready for anything I suggested. Their reception was at the Adam's Mark with a photo shoot at City Hall.

[sophia's dream halloween]

Marie-Therese Gown GIVEAWAY !!!!!!!

Amazing...I would LOVE to have this dress for Sophia this may be the only thing to satiate her quest for the DRESS. As for my thoughts, Kathleen of Grosgrain is an amazing (and generous!!) seamstress and I only wish we lived in the same town so I could be her photog. :)

[stephanie and david]

my only september wedding this year belonged to stephanie and david...their ceremony and reception were held at Salvatore's in the new addition and officiated by none other than Barry Lillis of Buffalo weatherman fame. Kristen and I enjoyed working in the new, beautifully lit foyer. A BIG thanks to the Galdenzi family who passed my name along to Stephanie!
