[jessica and jason]

ok, I am amazed at my own sheer will to finish proofs before our vacation to north carolina...

Jessica and Jason were married on the 21st at the Buffalo Historical Society...a small family affair that was beautifully executed- they were married on the back steps overlooking Hoyt Lake with their family completely enveloping them. A photographer's nightmare, actually, but thank goodness for good old Abe Lincoln- I just climbed right up and according to one of the guests, "gave him the most excitement he's seen since 1864..." (I am still blushing.) ANYWAY, I had never met Jessica or Jason before their rehearsal dinner, and I must say, what an awesome couple! Both teachers from Brooklyn- fun and beautiful people!

[elisabete and matthew]

probably the most interesting photoshoot I have done as of late was elisabete and matthew's engagement session. we photographed tat the railroad bridges near squaw island and a grain elevator near the coast guard headquarters. the textures of the rust along with the structural elements were a great contrast to them. i look forward to their october wedding!

[molly and greg: the wedding]

I know, i know- I am REALLY far behind on my blog posts....it has been busy times around here! LOTS of engagement sessions and three more weddings this month will be posted very soon.
In the meantime, here are some images from Molly and Greg's most unusual day at the end of May....the day began somewhat sunny, and then it POURED. As soon as the ceremony was over, the sun came out and gave us the most beautiful sky to work with. And best of all, Molly and Greg were awesome throughout everything! The ceremony took place at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, and the reception was at the Avanti Mansion. Kristen was around during the ceremony to help out as well....check out the cool lensbaby shots that she took (the "sweetspot" photos.)
