[christa and sean]

Wow- do these two know how to throw a party! What a cool, down to earth couple...
Their ceremony took place at Sacred Heart in Orchard Park with a very hip reception at the Hamlin House- a beautiful, historic building in Allentown. I don't think I have ever seen so many people dancing at one time or for so many consecutive songs. We stopped at City Hall in between, which incidentally is my new favorite place to photograph people. Enjoy...

Good luck charms for Sean and Christa (I don't know, I'm just the photographer...)

[purging...]

so my closet at home is a disaster.....
we are in the process of making a nice new bedroom for ethan and within this space is a long hallway of closets. I currently command them with all of my art materials, photography stuff and any other junk that I can't seem to part with. So to share the wealth
, I am attempting to sell off all of my matted photographs from my old festival days....I have a number of matted images from Italy, images with fairy tale and mythological themes and also a number of still lifes. I am selling these images for 1/2 of the price that I used to sell them at Allentown, Lewiston or Elmwood art shows. Please (please, please) take a look at my Etsy store and give little e a chance to have his own space :)

Ethan says thanks!

[emily and kenny]

I had only been to Griffis Sculpture Park one other time, and it poured the whole day. We were young and in love, Bryan and I, so the rain did not hold us back. What a unique place- I recommend you go if you are able. (A bit older now and still very much in love it's time for us to go back with the kids!)

My second visit was all about youth and love again, but this time for Emily and Kenny. Lots of tears were shed and wiped away. The sun shone hotly and fireworks sparkled in the night.....

Ok, ok...here are the pictures....

(I can't decide which I like better)

[tracy and steve]

I had never met tracy or steve before their wedding day but was really happy to have had the opportunity to work with them. They are both super sweet and had a beautiful wedding. The reception took place at Barton Hill Hotel in Lewiston- an amazing location which overlooks Toronto on a clear day, and is catered by Rich products, probably the BEST caterers in Buffalo. (They also do the Butler Mansion and hopefully soon the Delaware Park Casino.)

Not to go on a tangent (sorry t + s) but you can't imagine how important it is to have good catering at your wedding. I have worked at a few locations now (that are catered by the same pretty-big-name restaurant) where the person in charge has been extremely not nice to the other wedding vendors, and unjustly so. So I appreciate even more that the people of Rich's do the job that they do!

(I feel better now.)

in the elevator...

[courtney and rob]

On July 19, Rob and Courtney tied the knot....one of the only really hot days we had this summer (with the exception of this week of course). Courtney got ready at the most visually stimulating hotel I have ever seen- the Indigo Hotel in Amherst. The ceremony took place at Christ the King in Amherst with a reception at Banchetti's. We stopped at Glen Park in Williamsville along the way. Here are some favorites...

[rock and roll]

Sophia is currently off visiting mammy and papa in ohio, so there is a little more production going on around here. The morning of her departure she yells, "Rock and Roll!" quoting Chicken Run and giving me her best Billy Idol sneer. I miss that little stinker!

[kristen and rob]

Kristen, (my assistant) being a wedding photographer extraordinaire, left no detail untouched when it came to this wedding....also being a wedding photographer's bridal party, everyone had no choice than to be completely at kristen's (and my) mercy. No, really, they were incredibly enthusiastic and awesome to work with. The ceremony took place at St. John's Grace in Buffalo and the reception was at Brierwood. We stopped at Knox Farm in between for a little craziness.

A little note...I have noticed that I tend to post a lot of detail shots in these posts...a little self-indulgent on my part, but I do want to put it out there that those kinds of shots are only a small part of a wedding day....i just like to post the more creative ones :).
