DJ and Di are much to down to earth to ever admit that their wedding was incredible, but to me it was one of my favorites to date. I can't say enough about a wedding that reflected the bride and groom from the readings, to the food and with laughter and lightheartedness sprinkled throughout. A wedding can be such an overwhelming and over done event, so much so that the couple becomes lost within the event. Thankfully most of the people who hire me don't follow that path!
In any case, DJ and Di wanted to have a "West Side Wedding" and that they did- from their home to the ceremony to the reception site was a total of maybe 5 blocks, with walking strongly encouraged. Guests were encouraged to stop and notice the buildings and were given a little history along the way. The ceremony and reception were held at both locations of the Karpeles Manuscript Museum, reflecting their love for literature. And DJ's passion for food was evident in both the amazing cheese selections and Lloyd Taco dinner. Enough from me.....take a look!
